The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is a prequel that takes place roughly 65 years beforehand. Its main character is a young Coriolanus Snow. If that name sounds familiar, it should. Coriolanus Snow is the villainous tyrant President of Panam in The Hunger Games. Here we discover his backstory. While it was easy to root for Katniss Everdeen, the heroine of the trilogy, I found it much more difficult to root for Coriolanus.
